Selection Guide

There are two things you need to know to select ShockWatch impact indicator sensitivity: shipment size and weight. Selection guides should always be used as a starting point only.

To select the proper activation levels, determine if shock specifications exist for the product to be monitored. Most complex electromechanical products such as hard drives, avionics, analysis instruments, etc. have been through extensive testing to establish shock damage boundary data. When this information is available, the selection process is quite simple. Select the clip type and sensitivity. All product is rated at 50 milliseconds.

Clips are available in standard (CX, CXX) and mini (MC, MCD) form factors.
MC, CX = clip with one window (single).
MCD, CXX = clip with two windows (double)
