ShockWatch, a global leader in the innovation and optimization of logistics and cold chain risk management systems, once again earned ISO 9001:2008 certification. After a comprehensive audit, the certification was issued on Oct. 29, 2012 by Bureau Veritas for the design, manufacture and post-sales support of shipping, handling and cold chain monitoring products.

“I have spent my career in tier one automotive until now and it has been a long time since I was part of an organization that has taken ‘process control’ as seriously as here with ShockWatch,” said Vice President of Operations Jim Edwards. “All the associates understand and have a strong desire for continuous improvement and following the system. This certification with zero findings shows their dedication to it.”

ISO 9001:2008 is an internationally-recognized standard for quality management systems established by the International Organization for Standardization. The standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.   Using ISO 9001:2008 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services.
